Despite knowing the effects of global warming, the majority remained indifferent. Such ignorance and negligence has cost us more than we can imagine.
“The warnings about global warming have been extremely clear for a long time. We are facing a global climate crisis. It is deepening. We are entering a period of consequences.” - Al Gore
"Global warming due to CO2 emissions — which according to the UN have increased by almost 50% since 1990 — is accelerating climate change and threatens the survival of millions of people, plants and animals by causing meteorological events like droughts, fires and floods, which are becoming increasingly frequent and more extreme."
We can no longer afford to ignore this threat or remain indifferent. It is time to do what we can in order to fix our mistakes and save our home.
Here are a few examples of what you can do:
Reduce water waste
Invest in energy-efficient appliances
Drive a fuel-efficient vehicle
Use renewable energy
Shrink your carbon profile
