As a result of the global pandemic, preventive measures were put in place to limit the virus from spreading. These measures included the use of surgical masks, gloves, and so on. Although we were able to reduce the number of infections, our environment has taken a huge impact. Every day the number of masks and plastic bags being found in our oceans increases. And not many people are aware of this. That is why, through a social media campaign, we aim to raise awareness about the effects of COVID-19 on our environment.​
